FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in Auckland. I do travel to shoots on agreed locations within Auckland including Waiheke Island. There may be extra travel expenses depending on location. Please contact me to discuss.

When will we receive our images?

You will receive a link to preview your online gallery with all edited digital images from your session within 3 weeks of your shoot (Professional Portrait sessions are within 1 week).

For Maternity, Newborn and Family sessions you can then view your gallery and choose which images you would like. Once you have chosen your images and made full payment for any extra images you want you will be sent a link to download your purchased images. Your images will be provided in high resolution files for print and web/social media optimised files in both colour and Black and White. You will have 1 month to download your files before the link will expire.

Can I get more images that the packages offer?

Yes of course! For lifestyle Sessions you will receive a preview of your gallery where you choose the images you want, for example if you book a Newborn session there are 25 images included in your session price. You can also purchase extra images from your gallery or the full gallery. For Professional Portrait Sessions you can choose how many images you want prior to you session.

Are there any hidden costs?

There are no extra or hidden costs for the sessions. Prior to booking you will receive a full pricing guide. Upon booking a photoshoot you will receive a contract with all of the details of the shoot so you know exactly what to expect. A non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to the session. The pricing of sessions are as stated. You can also purchase extra digital images from your gallery if you wish.

What should we prepare for the photoshoot?

It's most important to be nice and relaxed, be yourself, and remember to have fun! A photoshoot should be an enjoyable relaxed experience. The more you are prepared for your shoot the more relaxed you will be. Please ensure you have all of your outfits ready and organised well in advance of your session date to avoid stress on the day of the shoot. If we are shooting in your home please ensure your house is clean and clutter free prior to the shoot to get the best value for time during the session.

I will send you a little Photoshoot guide with outfit tips/suggestions prior to the shoot. Please let me know if you have any questions at all, I love seeing the outfits you have chosen prior to your session and am happy to help and bounce ideas too!

What if I have an outdoor shoot booked and the weather is bad?

If it is raining on the day of your photoshoot we will need to postpone. Unfortunately cannot do the shoot in poor weather conditions. I will be in touch to advise of postponement on the day and ask you to re book a date that suits.

Do you do extended/large family photoshoots?

I sure can! The current family session is designed for one family up to 5 people. I can customise packages to suit large/multiple families/extended family. Please contact me so I can customise a package to suit your needs.

COVID 19

Safety Procedures
Safety is absolute paramount and I take every precaution to ensure the safety of everyone. If you or any members in your immediate family are feeling sick, are unwell or test positive for covid 19 and need to self isolate we will reschedule at a time the suits without any rescheduling fees. The deposit is non refundable should you wish to cancel your session and not reschedule.

What's your Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy?

REFUND POLICY: Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that images, once sent, cannot be returned; The Photographer has a NO REFUNDS POLICY.

No refund will be given if you fail to attend the session on the day and at the time the booking was made for.

In the case of camera failure, poor weather conditions, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents shooting on a scheduled date a new date will be scheduled.

BOOKING POLICY: At the time of booking, a $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date.

PAYMENT POLICY: Sessions must be paid in full prior to your session by the date specified in your contract.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICIES: If you are unable to make your session and do not wish to reschedule all deposits will act as a cancellation fee and will be released to the photographer indefinitely. If you reschedule with at least 48 hours notice your deposit will be credited towards a future session. Credit is valid for up to 12 months from initial Session date. Special consideration is given to Maternity and Newborn Sessions. The Photographer reserves the right to deny service to any client(s) who repeatedly have a history of cancellations. If the Photographer cannot perform the contract due to fire or casualty, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Photographer's illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the deposit to the client but shall have no further liability concerning the contract.

PLEASE NOTE: The Photographer has the right to refuse service for any booking which she does not want to render. A model release form must be signed upon arrival or before the session. Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present at all times.
